JUNE, A TOUCH OF
Our long pubesent nightmare is over.
Breakfast with Kelly, Cake party for French I sophomores, left early, Haircut, Nap, Pre-prom then prom. Prom brought out the cliqeshness of most of the Von seniors and the utter ineptitude of the administration. Post-prom highlighted the selfishness of most young people and their inability to think of others. Still, our limo had a good time after the round-a-bout, and I had fun at prom despite it not being the most naturally fun of events. 2 hours of sleep, morning stuff. Ihop breakfast at Foster beach with Lisa, Oscar and Honore- other Von people showed up, caught lunch at Ben's Noodles and Rice, went home, discovered massive sunburn all over my body, showered, picked up contacts and lotion then slept (along with everyone else) through our evening plans. Slept from 4pm to 10:30 am. Garden work. Honore's house with her, Lisa and Lloyd then Hookah with them, Oscar and Gloria and some other stuff. Montrose Beach with Lisa, Gloria and Dan Chambers. "School", graduation practice is stupid, yearbook isn't dumb this year. Hot dogs. More practice, never have to go in that building again, Garcia's, being annoying in Walgreens, Colin's house, 'while driving', applying again, take out dinner with Mom and Uncle. GRADUATED. FINALLY.

That's it. I'm done with this Xanga, and these little lists. I'll be on livejournal now, writing real entries, about, like, stuff. And carbon copies of whatever magical things originate there can be found in space. Spaaaaaaace! Goodbye.

MAYDAY
My music sooooo loud.
AP English Language exam- did decently. Essays were a little difficult. Risk at Tim's. AP Stats test, bullshat everything. wrote a poem about the test for an answer, drew cartoons for the rest. I'm never going to Bennigans again. Lisa gave me a "freedom" scented air freshener and we saw a dude drive away from a gas pump without taking the pump out of his car. AP Lit test- eh, we'll see how it went. Oh Baby Oh! AP US Gov, I guess I did alright, forgot a few things. AP Comparative- not so hot. Gurellia filmmaking came to French. FILM FUCKING FEST. Beowulf was nominated for 6 awards, it won best production design (that means my mise-en-scene), Lisa's Chuck Norris shorts were nominated for 3 awards and won best Animation- people were chanting for it, even for awards it wasn't nominated for. The movies this year were really good and almost every award went to the movie that deserved it. Zephyers after-party, Hooka. Food depository. Coffee and cards with Lisa, Gloria and Dan Chambers. Food depository one last time. Job hunt. Spring Concert, coffee and cards again with Lisa, Gloria and Dan Chambers and all these girls. Free treats courtesy of JJ the inside man at Oberweis, hooka and kareoke, Lisa got a super cool job at Blockbuster, Sunday is seriously the worst day of the week, getting a tux and greek with Lisa, Communist Party was a bust, happy Memorial Day everybody, 'finals' are a joke, school is a joke, it's all a big funny joke, tuxedo pick-up and stuff, prom is tommorow. Things are comming to a head, but I'm still Waiting To Graduate.

JANUARY
Am I still doin this? Oh, okay.
Oragami Night, checking, potluck, shopping for room stuff, tuna noodle casserole, model boat, the Old Testament, super nachos, the New Testament, 10 month with Lisa, ending winter break with a bang and then being sick for two days. School sucks, what's new? This big... around. Finished watching season 4 of 24 on DVD, that show is awesome, making pad thai and fried rice with Lisa, Season 5 of 24 premiered, still awesome, finals suck, making Jamacian jerk beef and rice with Lisa, Balloon Art, George and Jason's combo birthday party, running with Lisa, La Magdalena, day off for me, hotttt pocket.

DECEMBER
How's it hangin? Big and loose and full of juice
Went to the seniors-teachers dodgeball game, petted cats an an animal shelter, made up a salsa lesson, had great Jamacian food in Evanston, saw The Santa Abductions at the Neo-Futurarium with Lisa and Elliot, picked up Nick and hung out at Elliot's, rasterbated, all-nighter that could have been avoided, learning Tribute (even though it's not the greatest song in the world), got a cool t-shirt from my guitar teacher, Lisa comes to lunch, editing first movie for film fest, have to take goddamn baths again because 'the wound' is back so I had to stop running, went to see Zoo lights with Lisa, Colin, Katie and Kirsten, bought a big ol' Christmas tree, did some more christmas shopping, took my own personal snow day, International Day was pretty lame again, but better than being in class, Swedish Club is 'hey guys let's just do whatever hur hur hurrr' club, saw King Kong (awesome), Cousin's birthday party- had some good Indian food, went sledding and hung out at Elliot's, last Salsa lesson, free cookies, presents and teaching Neitzsche, more cookies, more presents, a troublesome gift from Eleazar, BREAK AT LAST Christmas Eve, Christmas, PRESENTS:

Watching A Clockwork Orange, hanging out at Elliots, party at my house, Greektown with Lisa, Khay's Catillion, relaxing New Year's Eve with mom at home. New Years Resolutions are dumb, I'll have nothing to do with them.

NOVEMBER
Face piles of trials with smiles.
Adam left Loveline , Jarhead, Started salsa lessons, Finally got my computer in my freaking room, Had Jack, Lloyd and Jose over, made ornaments for disenfranchised children, made a movie with Elliot, Lloyd, Jack and George, restrung my guitar, got into UIC, had Thanksgiving and watched the dysfuctional end of my family try to function, set up my mom's new flatscreen TV, played pool, went to Bachies, hooka'd at a place better than the Sheisha Shack went to White Castle and discovered the hard way that their kids meals have no toys and played tag in Target all in one night, got into Knox and was awarded their Writer's Scholarship for $2,500 a year, tried to make up a salsa lesson, did some Christmas shopping, had a driving lesson, Jose netted a girl cuz he a pimp, drove to school, started editing the movie, ran a mile an a half nearly every day.

ROCKTOBER
What's cooking, good looking?
Hung out in the park, crucified a kite, bought a new desk at Ikea and assembled it, convinced Annie for a week that I was a student teacher, IHOP breakfast get-together, breakfast at Kelly's, finally recovered from surgery, Lisa bought a beautiful Halloween costume (Belle!), we watched Beauty and the Beast, I closed my summer home for the winter, went to Kelly's for a bit and then hooka bar'd it briefly, visited Knox, stayed home sick, had a big fight (but made up ), went back to Knox for an interview (went very well), went to a hooka bar with Lisa, Jason, Alex and Casey, went to Blue Angel, skipped first and second, got important things, tried to volunteer at Trails of Terror (failed), take-out Chinese and the Adam Carolla Project and The Lion King, went to a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, dressed up for Jessamyn's Halloween party, early morning chow at Salt 'n Pepper (ah! push it!), trick or treating, ran a mile most every day.

SEPTEMBER
What have I been up to? Well there's been...
...back to school, six months, twister in division, Anthony's first birthday, meeting the parents- again, hooters and a special present, unnecessary all-nighter, Lisa's birthday, finally read Catcher in the Rye like every other teenager ever, finally have a working ceiling light/fan in my room after 5 years, read my six month present Batman: Year One, collected money for Katrina relief, went to a drive in movie, went to a wedding, finally got contacts that fit, bought cloth for purple zuit suit, bought printer so I don't have to email all my reports to mom's computer to print them.
